This Place is my favorite Breakfast Place in the Mission.
They have nice outdoor seating and the interior looks like a classical American Diner.
All the dishes are also pretty much inspired by classical dinner dishes and are super delicious and the best thing they have a lot of vegetarian and vegan dishes which are very delicious.

This is my favorite place out of the three breakfast & brunch places I tired when I was in SF! It's kind of ironic because I deliberately choose the first two and just randomly pick this one because it's really close to my airbnb.

We went there 9ish in the morning and there weren't that many people. The place is cute and has several tables and an-open kitchen area aside. From their menu, I noticed that they have lots of vegan options and some vegan dishes look really innovative and interesting.

I tried the piggy pancake as I didn't have many savory pancakes before. The pancakes are AMAZING!! They are crispy on the outside but also fluffy as you get to bite more. The bacon inside is also crispy and chewy and the green onions balance the flavor really well. If you pour more maple syrup on top of the pancakes, the savory AND sweet taste mixed together is even better.

To be honest I wish I could try more of their food because they all look really good. The breakfast burrito and french toast combo my friends ordered are also really tasty, and they definitely give you a HUGE portion for a $10ish plate.

The server was really friendly and he even gave us the extra milk shake that can't be poured into the glass. He is also efficient in dealing with people who could potentially cause troubles/disrupt others' dinning experiences (small episode there), which I'm very grateful about.

Will remember this restaurant and hope it stays this popular as always!

Best breakfast on 24th st. Most people only think of the St. Francis Fountain as an ice cream place but they do SO much more! Full menu available.

    Great service!!

I've been on a breakfast diner kick lately, so my friends and I stopped by for a late brunch after a workout class this afternoon. We got there a little after 1 PM, and there was only one party ahead of us, and their party was incomplete, so we were seated within 5 minutes (which is pretty much unheard of for brunch at any popular spot in San Francisco).

I loved my experience! Dishes are homey (in the best way), generously portioned, and reasonably priced. My friend and I split the chef's mess, piggy pancakes, and an extra piece of banana bread. We also each ordered our own shakes. The chef's mess was so delicious, and I couldn't believe that banana bread (served toasted with plenty of butter on the side) was one of the options for toast! My straight shake (Oreo) was pretty standard, but I was super impressed that they used Mitchell's ice cream, and I couldn't resist the adorable striped straw. :) The piggy pancakes, however, were completely burnt, which is why I'm bumping down a star. My friend and I ended up leaving most of this dish uneaten, but we were still stuffed with our other dishes, so we still left full and happy.

I'd definitely come back--I'm already craving the chef's mess again!

Came here for my roommate's birthday on a saturday morning around 10:45am. Got seated in about 15 minutes. It definitely has that classic diner feel (you can even buy old candy!) with a decent amount of seating.

I got a small old fashion chocolate milkshake ($5), which was actually pretty big and was soooo good! I also got the Veggie Mess ($13) with banana bread as the toast, which was super filling and I couldn't finish it all. I didn't particularly looove the soy-rizo but the rest was good- definitely on the heavier side. My roommate got the Chef's Mess ($13), which is the same but has bacon instead of soy-rizo. My other roommate got Tofu Rancheros ($12.50) because she's vegan (lots of vegan/ vegetarian options btw!) and she really enjoyed it! She also got the vegan vanilla milkshake ($6.50). Lastly, we all shared the vegan banana-walnut pancakes (2 for $7.50), but we were all so full we had to take most of it home (but the few bites were delicious!). My roommates also got mimosas ($5.25) that looked good.

Overall, service was a bit slow, but I would definitely come here again!
